In 1961 “LOVE HURTS” was the B-Side to #1 Hit “RUNNING SCARED.” Every jukebox in America and Europe had “LOVE HURTS” spinning Roy’s charm. Orbison had the first hit with this song. Many people have done the song since 1961, including Nazereth & Emmylou Harris, but this is the original standard. Produced by Roy’s friend Boudleaux Bryant, who wrote the song especially for Roy with his wife Felice Bryant.
