Flashback Friday: Roy Orbison & Joe Melson circa 1960

This songwriting pair co-wrote such classics as “Uptown,” “Only the Lonely,” “Running Scared,” “Crying,” and “Blue Bayou.”  Melson is still producing great music, most recently with Australian singer-songwriter Damien Leith, who notably recorded an Orbison tribute album several years ago!
