We are sad to report visionary film maker David Lynch has died.

He brought his surrealist and groundbreaking visual concepts to the the world through him films and even Roy Orbison’s music video for “In Dreams.” Lynch used a unique layering effect to create a dream like feel. Lynch gave the song a whole new spin in one of his best known classics, Blue Velvet. Lynch and Orbison worked together closely. You can see them here in the studio with T Bone Barnett. Remaining dear to the Orbison family, you will see Lynch on hand (along with Dan Aykroyd, Chris Isaak, and Dwight Yoakam) for the unveiling ceremony for Roy’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star. Our thoughts are with the friends, family, and fans mourning this loss.
