Today is the 10th anniversary of the death of Sun Records founder Sam Phillips.
Besides founding the legendary Sun Recording Studio, Sam also helped launch the careers of many of the greatest artists of all time including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, and of course- Roy Orbison.
