On this day in 1961, a young Roy Orbison stepped into the studio in Nashville, and unleashed two amazing songs. The first of these two – “RUNNING SCARED.”
It went on to be released in March of 1961, topping the Billboard Hot 100 and reaching #9 on the UK charts.
