Ricky Nelson and Roy Orbison were great friends and the two shared a Grammy (along with Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Chips Moman, Jerry Lee Lewis, & Sam Phillips) for Best Spoken Word Album for “Interviews from the Class of ’55 Recording Sessions.”
