McCoy’s playing is heard on recordings by Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Ringo Starr, Nancy Sinatra, Bob Seger, Olivia Newton-John, Steve Miller Band, Loretta Lynn, Chet Atkins, Leon Russell, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Joan Baez, and many, many others.
He has recorded thirty-seven studio albums, including fourteen for Fred Foster’s Monument Records. Thirteen of his singles have entered the
Billboard Charts.
