Happy Birthday Jack Clement!

In 1956, Clement was part of the seminal events in Rock and Roll history when he was hired as a producer and engineer for Sam Phillips at Sun Record Company . Clement worked with stars such as Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash. Credited with “discovering” Jerry Lee Lewis when Jerry Lee walked into the studio during Roy Orbison’s session for “Rockhouse”.

Jack later moved to Nashville and remained friends with Roy through the years.
